I attended Dade County Public Schools and have worked at Miami-Dade Public Schools for over 23 years.
I have worked at New Hope Development Center as a teacher and office assistant for over 3 years.
When not working, I enjoy spending time with my family, listening to music and dancing.
My motto: “Each One, Teach One, Reach One…until all is taught.”
Adeja Wells

My name is Adeja Wells. I attend Miami Dade College My major is early childhood education with a minor of psychology. My dream growing up was always to be a teacher because I love working with kids and I want to have the opportunity to help them reach their full potential in the classroom and for them to have a positive role model.
When not working or in school, i enjoy spending time with my son, listening to music, writng, and reading books.

Ericka Holts-Stephens, M.S. Ed.

​Ericka Holts-Stephens is a distinguished educational leader with an over 23-year legacy of service to both the local public school system and the New Hope Development Center, Inc. (NHDCI). Her entire professional career has been devoted exclusively to Exceptional Student Education (ESE), a field in which she holds dual professional certifications in ESE (K–12) and Pre-kindergarten/Primary (PK–3).
​With a Master of Science from Nova Southeastern University, Ericka has extensive experience servicing children with Developmental Delays, ASD, and other Impairments. She is a recognized leader on her school campus and has been a cornerstone of the NHDCI Program for over 23 years, having held various leadership roles in both aftercare and summer programming. Whether she is advocating for her students in the classroom or lea
ding morning affirmations to inspire the youth, Ericka is a constant source of motivation.

Sheneka L. Munnings

Been in childcare field for over 7 years; working at New Hope Development Center for 2 years in the afterschool program as a teacher. I have an Associates Degree in Computer Science from Mackie College.
When I’m not working, I enjoy cooking, baking, traveling and spending time with my family.
